Opterra can provide hazardous materials surveys of buildings or other above-ground structures for materials likely to be hazardous to human health or the environment. Typical materials surveyed include asbestos, lead, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs).
Our inspections and surveys are conducted by our consultants who professionally qualified and experienced in the identification, assessment and management of hazardous materials in workplaces and are also SafeWork NSW licensed asbestos assessors. Our consultants will visually assess your workplace and identify, as far as reasonably practicable, materials that are likely to be hazardous to human health and the environment. Materials that are identified will be listed in an hazardous materials register which includes a risk assessment, site location and representative photos.
